We’re one month away from the 2026 CMC Common Reader author tour!

Every year, CMC chooses a book for our college and communities to read together. This year’s selection is 🍑Go as a River by Colorado author Shelley Read.

Complimentary copies are available at CMC front desks and local libraries. Pick up a copy, read along with us, and join us this October for an author talk and book signing at a campus near you:

We’re proud to celebrate CMC alum Cameron Baker, who was recently recognized with the 2026 MICHELIN Guide Colorado Young Chef Award, presented in partnership with OpenTable!

Now chef de cuisine and partner at Radicato in Breckenridge, Cameron has built an impressive culinary career rooted in Colorado, seasonal ingredients, mentorship, and a passion for great food. He also continues to give back to CMC. Each year, Cameron helps make the first course of our annual Culinary Dinner a reality, generously sharing his talent and creativity to help raise funds that support CMC students.

Congratulations, Cameron, on this well-deserved recognition! We’re grateful for the ways you continue to share your talent with CMC and excited to celebrate this next achievement in your culinary career.

YOU’RE GOING TO WANT TO GET TO THE RAPIDS GAME EARLY!

We have CMC soccer scarves to give away at the pop-up CMC Fan Station, while supplies last! Before the Rapids game, stop by between 5-7 PM in the parking lot to take a photo, connect with fellow CMC supporters, and pick up your scarf.

Then, watch luchador wrestlers💪, cheer on the Rapids as they take on the Seattle Sounders ⚽, and stay for postgame fireworks🎆.

Celebrate Noche Latina in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month and enjoy an unforgettable night with the CMC community!
