We are excited to present a Private Pilot Ground School Course. This course prepares you for the FAA Private Pilot Airplane Single Engine Land Knowledge Written Exam while building a strong foundation in aviation concepts. Gain hands-on experience in a flight simulator at KGWS Sumers Airpark in Glenwood Springs. Course fee does not include required online materials.

Greg Guardiano demonstrates one of the fight simulators used in the Private Pilot Ground School class. Greg earned his private pilot certificate in 1987 and now holds an instrument-rated commercial pilot certificate, along with Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI) and Instrument Ground Instructor (IGI) credentials. He has logged extensive cross-country experience as the owner of a Cessna 182 and is currently building a Van's RV-14A in his garage.

CMC Glenwood Springs is geared towards meeting people where they're at with modern health practice concerns. That's why we're hosting our second Holistic Health Expo, which provides a range of local holistic health practitioners.

The community is invited to peruse informational booths and visit with individual practitioners to learn more about holistic health options in the valley. This expo is FREE and open to the public.

The keynote address will take place at 10am with Dr. Hilary Back and Dr. Casey Bowen, who will take a deep dive into the hormonal rhythms that shape every stage of a woman’s life. You’ll learn what drives common symptoms, what truly supports hormonal balance, and the game-changing strategies every woman deserves to know.

Class 2: Intermediate Woodshop: Laptop Desk Project
Advance your woodworking skills by building a custom folding-leg laptop desk while expanding your tool experience and learning new techniques such as biscuit joinery, pocket holes, and drill press use.

What better way tell your pet you love them than to create your own painting of them?

Recently, some of our community ed students took our "Paws & Paint: Pet Portraits on Glass". They enjoyed the creative break in their work week to enjoy some time with community celebrating their pets.

Best part is, there's another class on February 10, from 6-8pm. Space is limited. We hope to see you there!

No, it's not ✨déjà vu✨ - our entryway is once again closed for construction. Just as we did this summer during the Mini College remodel, we've moved our front desk to the Student Center and are using the west doors as our temporary entrance. We should be back to business as usual by the end of the semester!
