Our Gear Cage is full of the latest equipment that students can rent out to use in various assignments to gain the real skills they'll be using out in the field. From the major brands of cameras like Canon, Nikon, and Sony, to supporting equipment like studio lights, microphones, and drones, we've got a complete collection for you to use.

We've previously hosted the Colorado High School Cycling League State Mountain Bike Championships on our trails, so we're proud to say we've got some of the most diverse unique trails to ride in the area.

This is the day our students have been working for. All of the late nights, the tight deadlines, the tears shed, the memories along the way, have all prepared them for this moment. Ladies and gentlemen, CMC Spring Valley is proud to present your CLETA graduating class of Spring 2026!

After a semester of various intensive studies, such as shooting classes, driving courses, and even enduring pepper spray and a taser, eighteen graduates will join various police departments across the state.

We are deeply proud of you, and wish you the best going into the future.

Finals week is here, and we’re finishing strong.

Students stopped by our Late Night Grill for Finals Breakfast, where a little break from studying turned into Music Bingo, good food, and a chance to win some great prizes. It’s a simple way to reset, connect with friends, and get ready for the last push of the semester.

The Sopris Res Hall Multipurpose Room (or the MPR) serves as a community hub for residential students at Spring Valley. Equipped with a kitchen, a ping pong table and pool table, along with a tv and other fun accommodations makes for loads of memories through student led events or casual weekend hangouts.

Colorado Mountain College is pleased to invite you to We the Future: Western Slope Civic Symposium on April 28 from 6:00–8:00 p.m., an evening dedicated to strengthening civic and historical education across Western Colorado. This special event is open to the public and commemorates two major milestones—the 250th anniversary of the United States and Colorado’s 150th anniversary of statehood.

Student Showcase | 5:30–6:00 p.m.
Please join us early for a display of student civic engagement projects, historical research, and multimedia work. Students are welcome to attend and discuss their projects with guests.

Main Program | 6:00–7:30 p.m.
The program is designed to model civil discourse, explore the role of education in strengthening democracy, and support educators with practical tools connected to civic literacy and free expression.
