A NEW ERA OF DISCOVERY BEGINS AT GILA COMMUNITY COLLEGE.

Join us for a truly special evening as we celebrate the Richard F. Caris Observatory with GCC’s First Light Ceremony & Star Party at the Payson Campus.

This is more than a ribbon cutting. It’s the beginning of a new chapter in science, education, research and discovery at Gila Community College — and we want our entire community to be part of it.

For generations, the World’s Oldest Continuous Rodeo has been part of the story of Payson and the Rim Country — bringing our community together and carrying a proud Arizona tradition forward year after year.

Whether you’ve always wanted to try stained glass, pick up a paintbrush, work with clay, create your own jewelry, or explore a completely new art form, Gila Community College has a class waiting for you this fall.

Our Fall 2026 Art Classes at the Gila Pueblo Campus offer something for just about every creative interest — and you don’t need to be an experienced artist to get started. Come learn, experiment, meet new people, and discover what you can create.

Choose from Stained Glass, Acrylic Painting, Watercolor, Sculpture, China Painting, Ceramics, Crafts, Jewelry and Lapidary.

And here’s an opportunity worth sharing: Arizona residents age 55+ may qualify to take classes tuition-free.
