👋 Faculty Spotlight: David “Cully” Culbreth
Professor of Practice, Economics and Business

We love seeing how our faculty make the classroom a space for collaboration and innovation. 💬

💭 How he connects with students:

“I ask students questions from the material or case and write their answers on the whiteboard, which generates a collaborative environment to share ideas and build knowledge.”

🍂 Favorite Memory at Mines:

“I love walking across campus, especially in the fall when the leaves turn and hearing the clock chiming from Guggenheim Hall.”

💡 Something he wishes more people understood about his field:

“Given my field is technology of all kinds, I wish people understood the excitement of technology evolution and the chance to work on something cutting-edge.”

We’re so grateful for faculty like Dr. Culbreth, who bring insight, real-world experience, and curiosity to the Mines community every day. 💛
