The Gamma Kappa Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. kicked off Sigma Saturday with our 1st Chapter Meeting of the new chapter year!

We came together in sisterhood, fellowship, and purpose as we reviewed our upcoming chapter events, initiatives, and opportunities to continue making an impact in our community. New year, New goals, Same commitment to excellence!

Soror Andrea Blair was proud to volunteer at the annual Wilbert Ellis Baseball Clinic, where she assisted with registration, counting kids, clean up, etc. while supporting an event dedicated to empowering youth ages 4–15.

The clinic provides hands-on instruction in baseball fundamentals, including batting, catching, base running, and so much more, while encouraging teamwork, discipline, and confidence both on and off the field.

It was inspiring to see our community come together with special guests, including State Representative Patrick Jefferson, KGRM 91.5 FM, the Mayor of Grambling, and numerous community organizations—all committed to investing in the future of our children. Together, we continue to make a difference through service, mentorship, and community engagement.
