Today we celebrate an incredible student-athlete, teammate, and leader — Shane Kobald! 🎓🏹
Shane has been part of our archery team since day one, joining as a freshman during the very first year of our program and dedicating all four years to helping build it into what it is today. Throughout his time with the team, he has been an essential asset both on and off the range.

As a competitor, Shane has accomplished so much — earning multiple individual titles for himself while also helping bring success to our team. His talent, hard work, and consistency made him one of the strongest shooters in our program. But beyond the awards and accomplishments, Shane’s positive attitude and leadership helped create the welcoming and supportive atmosphere that has become such a big part of our team culture.

Outside of archery, Shane is graduating with a BFA in Studio Art and a minor in Business Administration. His incredible talent in wildlife art and his work as a summer fishing guide show just how passionate he is about the outdoors and conservation. It has been amazing to watch him continue the legacy of his dad through wildlife sculptures and art while creating a name for himself along the way.

Shane, thank you for everything you have given to this program over the last four years. Your impact on this team will be felt for years to come, and we are incredibly proud of the person, artist, guide, and athlete you have become.

Congratulations, and we cannot wait to see where your journey takes you next! 🎯🎣🎨

Tomorrow we celebrate one of our own — Madelyn “MJ” Mintz! 🎓

Over the last two years, MJ has been such an important part of our collegiate sh***un team. Whether it was practices, competitions, team events, or the countless clubs and activities she was involved in, she always showed up with dedication, positivity, and a willingness to be involved wherever she could.
MJ has worked incredibly hard to earn her degree in Exercise Science and Kinesiology, and we could not be more proud of everything she has accomplished. She has been a great teammate, role model, and friend to so many along the way.

Congratulations, MJ! We are excited to see where life takes you next and know you will do amazing things in this next chapter. Thank you for everything you brought to our team these last two years. We’ll all be cheering you on wherever your journey leads.
