Meet your 2026-2027 ASG President Elijah Lorica and Vice President Jessalyn Gallegos 👋
Hey everyone! My name is Elijah Lorica, and I am the ASG President for this school year. I was born and raised on Oahu, Hawaii, and I am currently majoring in History. I am super excited to represent all students at CMU. I have been involved with ASG since I came to CMU in 2023, and this community and school have given me so much. Now, I hope to do the same this school year by giving back. This year will be a busy one with our biennial process, but Jess and I are working hard to get everything done while continuing to uphold the goals and values we shared when you voted for us. I’m excited for what’s ahead and grateful for the opportunity to serve you all!
Hi everyone! My name is Jessalyn Gallegos, and I am incredibly honored to serve as your Student Body Vice President!
I am a junior from Orange County, California, majoring in Cellular, Molecular, and Developmental Biology with a minor in Chemistry. As a first-generation student and member of the CMU Softball team, I understand the importance of community, support, and having people in your corner throughout your college journey. As I begin this year alongside Elijah, my goal is to listen to your ideas, concerns, and experiences and turn your voices into meaningful action. I want to help create a campus where every Maverick feels heard, supported, included, and proud to call CMU home.
Let’s make it a great year- Go Mavs!
