🤝💙 Alumni Educators Return to Support Future Teachers

More than 170 pre-service students from the College of Education and Community Innovation met with alumni area school superintendents, principals and human resources staff March 18 at a networking event hosted by the Center for Educational Partnerships (CEP). These alumni principals, superintendents, and HR professionals sat down with students for small-group conversations, offering real feedback on resumes and cover letters and honest insight into what schools are actually looking for in new teachers. Even better? These professionals were once in the same seats now they’re giving back to help the next generation succeed. 💙

GVSU education program students: We welcome you to take part in our GVSU College of Education Alumni Network panel discussion and roundtable event for the Winter Semester. Join local administrators and your peers at GVSU's downtown campus to engage and network with one another. Now is your chance to ask active administrators and GVSU alumni their thoughts and tips on interviews, cover letters, and resumes.
Please print your resume and cover letter, dress business casual, and bring something to write with. Expect a lot of talking and be ready to network!
