Our newest counseling students are on campus this week!

Students in our online M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy programs are in Grand Rapids this week for their program introduction and residency. They’re connecting with professors, meeting classmates and beginning the in-person work that will shape their calling to serve others.

Welcome back to chapel, Golden Eagles.

Yesterday we gathered for our first President’s Chapel of the semester with Dr. Gerson Moreno-Riaño and launched this year’s theme: Jesus is coming again.

The year’s Scripture is Revelation 22:12 — “And behold, I come quickly.” President Moreno-Riaño reminded us that “behold” is not a suggestion. It is a command to wake up, pay attention and live ready.

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

🎙️ New episode of Wisdom & Influence is now available!

Cornerstone University President Dr. Gerson Moreno-Riaño sits down with former Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, president of Young America’s Foundation, for Episode 25: Freedom, Faith and Forming the Next Generation.

Walker traces his path from a formative high school Badger Boys State experience and the influence of America’s founders to his eight years as governor and his current work training young leaders. He addresses the urgent need to teach the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the full truth of American history; the power of moral courage rooted in faith; the danger of socialist ideas; and the call for spiritual revival.

He challenges listeners to counter division with love for America and Jesus Christ, defend God-given rights, and live as light in a darkening culture.
