Arts at Denison

Arts at Denison Art happens here. The arts intersect with nearly every facet of life at Denison. Students often bring a passion for the arts, and once here they find new ones.

With 200 performances and exhibitions a year, we invite you to attend one of our events! For the majority of our students, the arts play an integral role not only in their college experience but also throughout the rest of their lives, no matter their profession. We nurture our students’ interests through personal attention, countless opportunities to create and to participate, and of course, our

very rich curricular offerings in music, theater, dance, cinema, art history, studio art, and creative writing. With 200 performances and exhibitions a year, we invite you to attend one of our many events!

The Eisner Center is hiring a Costume Shop Assistant!

This 20 hours a week, part time position will oversee the student staff members and workflow of the costume shop in the absence of the Costume Shop Supervisor. They will assist in fittings, measurements, pulling from costume stock, and training student staff members in sewing projects. Outside of assisting students, they will perform machine and hand sewing, costume construction, patterning, and alterations for theatrical and dance costumes as instructed by designer or from verbal, fitting notes, or pinned garments.
