Being a Barton Student Ambassador means representing the College in all kinds of ways, and sometimes that means stepping in front of the camera! 🎬🙌

Our 2026-2027 Student Ambassadors will be making appearances in plenty of videos throughout the year, so we figured we’d give them a little practice during their annual photo shoot! 📸😻

Registration is open for the Barton Foundation’s 16th Annual Sporting Clay Shoot Sept. 26 at Camp Aldrich. Sign up with a four-person team or come out as an individual shooter and enjoy a day on the course while supporting Barton Faculty Mini-Grants! 🙌🐾

🎉🎶 Congratulations to Barton’s Dr. Alejandro Avila! 🎹👏

Avila, Barton’s Instructor of Keyboard Studies and Director of Accompaniment, has officially taken on the role of president-elect of the Kansas Music Teachers Association! 🎼🎵

In this statewide leadership position, he’ll work alongside music educators from across Kansas, support music education initiatives, and represent Barton while preparing to become KMTA president in September 2027. 🎹🎻🎺

Avila continues to make an impact both at Barton and throughout the music education community, creating opportunities for students, building connections, and sharing his passion for music. 🎶🙌

💙🐾 We love seeing our Barton community come together to support our students!

A huge thank you to everyone who participated in Cougar Corner’s first “Choose Your Own Discount” days and donated items to help stock the Cougar Supply Den and Pantry. 🥫🫶

🛍️💙 A big THANK YOU to everyone who participated in Cougar Corner’s first “Choose Your Own Discount” days!

Customers earned bigger discounts by bringing in more items to support the Cougar Supply Den and Pantry, and our Cougar community showed up with plenty of giving hearts. 🫶🐾

Yesterday, The Cougar Corner presented the donated items to staff members of the TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) program, who serve as sponsors and help manage the Cougar Supply Den and Pantry. 🥫📦

The first event was a huge success, and The Cougar Corner is already looking forward to making it an annual tradition!

🏐🙌 High fives, smiles, and plenty of energy made for a great start to the school day!

Our Barton Volleyball team participated in Wings of Welcome at Eisenhower Elementary this morning, cheering on students as they arrived. The team even brought a Bluetooth speaker and played Disney music to add to the fun! 🎶🏰
