☀️ Summer may be a time to recharge, but learning never stops! 📚💻🤓 While our students are enjoying a well-deserved break, our Economics faculty at University of Northern Colorado, UNC are staying engaged through research, conferences, and sharing ideas that make a difference. 🎓🌎 📊 This summer, our faculty presented research on hybrid learning and educational equity, exploring how flexible learning formats may help close achievement gaps and better support Hispanic, Black, and first-generation students. 💡✨We’re proud of our faculty’s commitment to innovation, inclusion, and student success, inside and beyond the classroom! 📝💯🙌

As an OER grantee, our economics faculty member Professor Park wrapped up the month of May by attending the Colorado OER Conference this weekend at Arapahoe Community College 📚🎓 OER (Open Educational Resources) helps make higher education more affordable, accessible, and equitable for students by reducing the cost of textbooks and course materials. Since adopting OER in his economics courses, he has seen tremendous benefits for students at University of Northern Colorado, UNC from lowering financial barriers to improving access to learning resources from day one 👏📖 It was inspiring to connect with educators across Colorado who are passionate about student success, innovation in teaching, and expanding educational opportunities for all learners
🌎✨ Looking forward to continuing to support affordable education and student-centered learning in the years ahead! 💛💙🐻
