"Aims felt welcoming from day one. The hands-on learning, strong support system, and dedicated faculty made it feel like home. As a first-generation student, I needed a college that believed in me and Aims did. It helped me grow academically, professionally, and personally. I had professors and staff who encouraged me, guided me, and reminded me of my potential when things got difficult. Their support played a big part in my success and made this journey meaningful. Aims didn’t just give me knowledge, it me confidence, connections, and purpose. I leave not just with a degree, but with growth, memories, and a stronger sense of who I am. I plan to continue my education toward becoming a Physician Assistant and explore the ultrasound pathway as well. My goal is to serve diverse communities and make sure every patient feels seen, heard, and cared for."

Today our Summer 2025 Medical Assisting students learned how to apply and remove casts and properly splint injuries — all part of the incredible hands-on skills our students master! 💪🩺

🩺✂️ Today was a HANDS-ON kind of day in our Aims Community College Medical Assisting lab! 💪👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️
We practiced placing and removing sutures & staples, performed punch biopsies, closed lacerations with Dermabond, and even cauterized some wounds — all on chicken thighs, of course! 🍗😄

It’s amazing what medical assistants are trained to do — we’re skilled, compassionate, and ready to jump into action! 🙌❤️

Proud to be part of this incredible journey! 🩹🔥🧪
