Music Ed showing up with strong representation at this year’s Future Teacher Conference! Our NAfME officers Noah Osuna, Sarah Rich, Micah Healy, Emi Brooker, and Madi Holshouser led a session “Music for All, All for Music” to three different groups of participants— demonstrating how music can be incorporated into any classroom. Some members of the pep band under the direction of Dr. Fredrick Brown welcomed students to the Performance Hall, and Madi Lujan participated in a student panel representing education majors of all content areas answering particular questions about majoring in education and life at UNC. They all crushed it and we’re grateful for these amazing students. We can’t wait to have music ed more involved at next year‘s conference!
