Kudos to Music Professor Michelle McQuade Dewhirst for a successful premiere of her score for the 1927 film Metropolis by the Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra. Michelle composed the first version of this score in 2017 for combined UWGB Bands and Choirs, and was commissioned by the MSO to rework it for full orchestra for this premiere. The thrilling sci-fi classic was a perfect kickoff to spooky season! Congratulations, Michelle!
