Welcome back performing arts alums to "A Bold and Gold Weekend"! We spotted a few familiar names of alums active in ensembles while at DePauw on the registration list (some of whom we even found photos)!

An especially warm welcome to the Class of 1976, celebrating its 50th reunion; the Class of 2001, which is celebrating 25 years; and to the Class of 2021, which is having its five-year reunion this weekend. After searching through hundreds of images in our University photographers' photo albums to share with you all the photos of Creative School grads, faculty, staff, students, singers, actors, writers and musicians we could find for our final Commencement upload, we made the serendipitous discovery that today happens to be the birthday of Edward Elgar (June 2, 1857), who composed the "Pomp and Circumstance Marches"! 💛 🎓 💛

Prof. Matthew Balensuela's retirement recognition—after 35 dedicated years of teaching at DePauw(!)—brought more music alums back to campus... which, for ol' time's sake, naturally inspired a trip to The Duck 🦆🍺 🤪

Jackson Faulkner '20 is working on his doctoral degree in music theory at IU...and hopes to finish by the time Prof. Scott Spiegelberg retires. 😄
