"A Toast to the Flag" predented by WB John Taylor Duggins of Dan River Lodge 129. A Army Veteran, 82nd Air Bourne, he honored us at our Stated Communication last night at Greensboro Lodge Greensboro "Old 76" AF&AM. There is nothing more beautiful than the flag of the United States of America. Take a moment everyday to give thanks to the Almighty Creator for the blessings, by His grace and mercy, that he has and continues to bestow upon us. Also, when giving thanks, remember the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defending this great nation, that we may continue to be the "Land of the Free".. Remember!, Honor! and Never Forget! SMIB

Brethren, at our next meeting, Thursday 5/28, we wil have a very special Masonic Education. It will be all about Memorial Day. We will be learning the true meaning and founding of this solemn holiday. We will be having a special seat next to our WM in the East in honor of our late brethren that were lost fighting for our freedom. We will also be saluting our veteran brothers by having our very own Brother Bagpiper David Thomas playing the different anthems for our armed forces plus he will be playing some special songs also in honor of the holiday. We will end the education with our very own Navy Vet Brother Senior Deacon Curtis Kane performing a symbolic Masonic Funeral for our fallen brothers. Please come out and support our Masonic family present and past. Dinner at 6 and lodge at 7.

Brethren, please keep our fallen brothers that paid the ultimate sacrifice in your thoughts today.
