Nursing Forward Together. That's what we did together this past weekend at UNCG's Homecoming! In celebration of the school's 60th Anniversary, we hosted the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk for the Susan G. Komen Foundation and gathered afterward for a celebratory breakfast. Alumni, students, faculty, staff and supporters joined us on this special day.

From Dean Barksdale: "Thank you to everyone who joined us for today’s breast cancer walk and breakfast, held in celebration of SON’s 60th anniversary and 60 years of nursing excellence. It was a wonderful success, and we’re grateful for the care and support that made it so special. Thank you to Cone Health, the Komen Foundation, and all the alumni, donors, friends, and supporters who attended and helped make the event a success. Your presence and generosity mean so much to us."
