Greetings from across the pond!

Students in the Literary London program are spending the month exploring the city through its layered histories, diverse communities, and rich literary landscapes.

In just the first week, they’ve stood at Roman walls, learned from Sikh community leaders, and walked through the rooms where John Keats lived and wrote. It’s been an inspiring start to their month of learning abroad.

The end of the academic year brings many milestones, and we're still celebrating the people who make CAS exceptional.

This year’s Teaching, Staff, and Advising Excellence Award recipients were recognized at our End‑of‑Year Celebration, and we’re grateful for how their contributions continue to shape our community.

Recap:

The College of Arts & Sciences hosted its annual End-of-Year Celebration for faculty and staff on April 30. Retirees, award winners, and service pin recipients were honored in a ceremony.

Here are a few tips to help you prepare for the ceremonies.

Join us in celebrating the nearly 3,000 graduates who've earned bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees from UNCG! 🎓🎊

A few reminders for guests who will attend the Commencement ceremonies:
• Arrive early – before 9:30 a.m. because the coliseum fills up fast and traffic gets heavy
• Carpool with friends and family
• Skip the stress—park on campus for FREE and ride the Spartan Chariots

Can't make the ceremonies in person? Watch the live streams at 10 a.m. And don't forget to tag your graduation posts !

All psychology faculty run research labs with undergraduate involvement. Today, one lab journeyed from the lab to the studio! Members of the Social Cognition Lab were guests on WUAG’s Research T at the G, the radio show of the College of Arts and Sciences. Pictured from left to right are Associate Dean Dr. Jing Deng, Dean Dr. Kelly Joyce, Isabel Rich, Dr. Brittany Cassidy, and Caleb Hall. Dr. Cassidy talked about her lab’s research, while Isabel and Caleb talked about their experiences as research assistants in the lab.
