Gate City Lodge # 694 Gate City Lodge No. 694 is a subordinate Masonic Lodge under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of North Carolina Ancient Free and Accepted Masons.

Gate City No. 694 (est. 1951) is a Masonic Lodge chartered by and subordinate to The Grand Lodge of North Carolina of Ancient Free & Accepted Masons. Within our Lodge and Freemasonry all across the state, you will find good men of all backgrounds who seek to become better men in all aspects of their lives by cultivating friendship, morality and brotherly love. Freemasonry is the world's oldest fra

ternity, and is unaffiliated with any religious or political party. Our lodge is a community of brothers who develop bonds and friendships beyond measure. Through the lodge we are able to engage in introspection, charitable work and goodwill in our surrounding communities and much more. We have three primary charities that we support. In no certain order, they are: our senior citizens at WhiteStone: A Masonic & Eastern Star Community, our young ones at The Masonic Home for Children in Oxford and the NC Masonic Foundation. The Masonic Foundation information can be found on the Grand Lodge website at www.GrandLodge-nc.org. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month from January through November with dinner at 6pm and a lodge meeting 7. December meeting dates are usually on the 2nd and 3rd Tuesday s due to the holidays. We meet in the Blue Lodge Room of the Greensboro Masonic Temple located in downtown Greensboro at 426 W Market Street. Awesome job to our degree team tonight as we initiated brothers Kendrick and Dakota. Thanks to all the lodges and visitors who attended to support us, including Guilford Lodge 656, Luther Kimbrough Lodge 838, Greensboro Lodge 76, and Invincible Lodge 251. Special to congrats to current Senior Deacon brother Michael for presiding in the East for the first time. He and the team represented well all the hard work they had put in practicing. We’ll be back soon with more!

Masonic Funeral Service for WB John Russell Fields, PM. He was Master of Gate City 694 in 1976 and was raised on February 25, 1969. He was a member for 57+ years. He is the father of Brother John Fields Jr., PM and grandfather of John (Rusty) Fields III.

The service will be Saturday August 8th at 10:00 am in the Chapel at Whitestone: Masonic and Eastern Star Home. WB Tom Dolinger, PM will be presenting the Masonic Funeral Rites. No graveside. Please plan to attend the service to honor our deceased Brother.
