The recent events in the AAPI community have been deeply saddening and hit home with several member of the CCLA team. CCLA gives our support and love to those who have been impacted by these hate crimes not only this year but anytime. It is unacceptable and demands changes and awareness. Chinese New Year is not just a one day celebration, rather an almost 2 week long festival of different actives where family come together and celebrate each other, past relatives, and the start of a prosperous new year! This years celebration started on the 12th and will last until the 27th, a full 15 days!

UNCG CCLA wants to wish you a happy Lunar New Year! This year is the Year of the Ox and to celebrate we will be posting Spring Festival facts all throughout the celebration!

In Chinese, to wish each other a happy and prosperous New Year we say: 祝你新春快乐!(zhù nǐ xīnchūn kuàilè!) which translates to “I wish you a happy and auspicious year of the ox”

Hey everyone! Our first CCLA movie night of the semester is on Monday. We wanted to put out a sign up sheet so we could see how we want to proceed to show the movie.
