We are SO happy to have you all back!!! Yesterday’s start to the fall term was refreshing to hear the chatter, see the smiles, and feel the energy & motivation of those returning, and those starting out on their very first day as a college student. WELCOME HOME!! 💙💛

Another excellent and meaningful event for the interns participating in the Westmoreland-Fayette Workforce Investment Board Experience Works Plus! program. We enjoy the opportunity to meet and work with the rising young talent across the region—and of course visiting with one of our own Bobcats 🐾 (way to go, Adam! 👏🏼)!

Last week, the WFWIB hosted Interviews & Ice Cream!, an Experience Works! PLUS mock interview and professional networking event focused on strengthening interns’ career readiness. Interns practiced their interview skills with local employers, received valuable feedback, and reflected on strategies they can use during future employment opportunities. The event concluded with ice cream and networking, giving interns an opportunity to continue conversations, build connections, and celebrate their progress.

students & alumni for our 23rd annual Graduate & Professional School Fair!

Chambers Hall Gymnasium, The University of Pittsburgh- Greensburg campus

This annual event attracts regional students interested in learning more about graduate and professional program requirements, the admissions process, and career opportunities. A wide variety of fields of study will be represented. The event is also open to students from area colleges and universities!

Last week our office had the invitation to present at the annual Experience Works! PLUS Internship Summit through the Westmoreland Fayette Workforce Investment Board!

What an incredible group of students in the middle of some impactful internship experiences. We were honored to be back again this summer to be a part of their professional development. Marcy thoroughly enjoyed meeting each of you, and is thrilled for the bright futures ahead, and the rising talent among us!
