Last Friday, Seton Hill alumni and friends stepped back in time at Historic Hanna’s Town! 🏡

We spent the afternoon exploring the site, learning more about Westmoreland County’s history, and enjoying time together beyond the Hill.

The Seton Hill University Athletics Department just announced the 2 individuals and 1 team who will make up the 15th class in the Seton Hill University Athletics Hall of Fame!

There’s a lot to celebrate in the Seton Hill Music community!! 🎶

👏 David Emanuelson ’14 was named the 2026 Outstanding Young Conductor by the Pennsylvania chapter of the American Choral Directors Association. Emanuelson is a choral music educator at Hempfield Area High School and serves as collaborative keyboardist for Una Voce, the Chamber Choir of Seton Hill.

🎹 Bridget Devenney ’20 was elected to the National Council of the American Guild of Organists, where she will serve as Councillor for Young Organists.

📚 Dr. Mark A. Boyle, Associate Professor of Music at Seton Hill, is collaborating with the University of Pittsburgh on an NEH-funded project to create a critical edition of more than 200 works by Charles H. Pace!

We’re proud to celebrate the continued impact of our alumni and faculty in music education, performance and scholarship.

Coming soon! 🧵🇺🇸 America’s Tapestry at Seton Hill!

From September 14-27, all 13 hand-embroidered panels of America’s Tapestry will be on display in the Harlan Gallery at the Seton Hill Arts Center. Created by some 2,000 volunteer stitchers, each panel tells the story of one of the original colonies and its road to independence, commemorating America’s 250th anniversary.

Seton Hill serves as the project’s nonprofit managing partner, making this stop on the national tour an especially meaningful one. 🤝

Join us for an Alumni College Lunch & Learn titled "From Fact to Fiction - Moon and Stars Over Assisi: The Women Who Loved St. Francis" 💡🍴

During this session, Michelle Campbell Toohey ’72 and Kathleen Mendus Dlugos ’79 will take us behind the scenes of their creative journey. They will discuss turning historical fact into fiction to bring the stories of the women around St. Francis to life. They will also share how they collaborated on the book’s cover, utilizing the art, techniques, and compositions of the time period.
