Kappa Kappa Psi - Kappa Sigma Chapter We are the Kappa Sigma chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi In addition, the group started the popular Pie-in-the-Face Contest to help raise money.

The East Carolina University colony of Kappa Kappa Psi began with a group of ten band-members in September of 1999. Their first service projects included organizing the sheet music library, handing out lunches at ECU Band Day, and assisting with the Eastern All-District Band and the Eastern District Solo and Ensemble Contest. Throughout its colonization period, the ECU colony worked closely with t

heir Big Brother chapter, Zeta Chi from the University of South Carolina, to learn about Kappa Kappa Psi and to build the foundation for a strong chapter. On March 25th, 2001 the charter members of Kappa Sigma were activated in a ritual performed at ECU by Zeta Chi. Since then, the Kappa Sigma chapter has grown to over 140 active members working hard and dedicating themselves to serving the university bands.
