OLLI @ Furman gives senior adults more than just something to do. You may begin by attending Dr. Crabtree's Shakespeare course, which leads to a Pen and Ink class, play bridge on Wednesday afternoon and then take a tour on Friday, and along the way you realize that learning never retires and you've never felt better or so engaged. In addition to the many courses that are offered during the academi

c year, various committees will plan special programs that include social events, discussion groups, special interest groups, travel, and service opportunities. These programs are planned around your interests and with your participation, so please let us know what types of programs you want offered. Don't hesitate to ask questions, share your life experiences, get involved with a committee and take that math class you avoided when you were a teen. The more involved you become, the richer and fuller OLLI @ Furman becomes, and the richer and fuller your life becomes.

Enjoy an array of concert experiences at Greenville’s newest music festival, Songfest, as it finds its new home on Furman’s campus! All concerts are free to attend and open to the public.

SongFest is coming to Furman! 🎶
SongFest, the internationally acclaimed art song festival and training program, is proud to begin an exciting new chapter this summer at Furman University under the leadership of its new Director, Grant Knox. Hosted on Furman’s beautiful campus from June 29–July 20, SongFest brings together world-renowned artist-teachers and talented singers and pianists from leading conservatories and universities for an intensive celebration of vocal chamber music. Throughout the festival, audiences are invited to enjoy a diverse series of concerts featuring art song, opera, American music, international repertoire, and master artists. All concerts are free and open to the public and will take place in Daniel Recital Hall. We invite you to join us for this remarkable summer of music-making, discovery, and artistic excellence.
