The location of Blackbeard the Wave Glider is shown as of 4 PM, with Speed Over Ground (in knots). It is moving faster than ever on this mission about 1.9 knots, due to a favourable current direction and high wave action. Solar panels have completely charged the batteries. Blackbeard is heading back to the recovery location near Beaufort Inlet. We will sample around the Swansboro Rotary Club Artificial Reef tonight (AR-345). It is working perfectly and will finish its mission early.
