🎉 PA Week is off to a creative start! 💜💛

Our ECU PA students kicked off Day 1 of PA Week with a fun challenge: dress up as something that starts with the first letter of your name! From clever costumes to lots of laughs, our students definitely understood the assignment!

Congratulations to this special ECU PA student, who was recently awarded the Annelise Davis Scholarship. 💜💛 She is pictured here with Annelise’s parents.

This scholarship was established in memory of Annelise Davis, a 2017 graduate of ECU’s Physician Assistant Program. After graduation, Annelise returned home to western North Carolina, where she began her career as a PA caring for people in her community. Sadly, shortly after beginning her career, Annelise was diagnosed with a rare neurological cancer and passed away on July 11, 2021, at just 30 years old.

This scholarship honors Annelise’s life, compassion, and commitment to caring for others. We are proud to see her legacy live on through future ECU PAs. 💜
