We love seeing our alumni return to campus, especially when they come back simply to stroll, reminisce, and reconnect with the place they once called home. 💙💛

Last Saturday, four Lander alumnae from the ’80s revisited campus together for a walk down memory lane.

We loved spending time with alumna Mae Williams Buzhardt ’48, one of Lander’s oldest alumnae and the beloved owner of Mae’s women’s clothing boutique!

Six days a week, you’ll find Mae working in her store, welcoming, and serving customers with her signature bright smile and warm spirit!

Fun fact: Mae’s cash register dates back to around 1916 and it still works!

And peep Mae with her Old Main ornament! She actually lived in Old Main as a student, making this little piece of Lander history extra special.

We loved swapping Lander stories with Mae and enjoying a bonus visit from fellow alumna Gina Fingerlin ’83.

A historic year for The Lander Foundation is, above all, a testament to the generosity of the Lander community.

During the 2025–26 fiscal year, The Lander Foundation raised more than $3.5 million, grew the University's endowment to a record $32 million, established 12 new endowed scholarships, and awarded $890,000 in scholarships.

These milestones are opening doors for students, expanding opportunities, and strengthening the future of Lander University.

To every alumni, donor, parent, and friend who helped make this possible, THANK YOU.

Your support is making a lasting difference in the lives of our students and in the future of Lander University.
