Grenada Cattlemen’s Association Holds Quarterly Meeting
The Grenada Cattlemen’s Association held its quarterly meeting on August 13, bringing local cattle producers together for an evening of fellowship, food and educational programs focused on improving cattle production and herd management.
Steaks for the meeting were generously provided by Positive Feed, LTD. Mike Inglish of Positive Feed, LTD., presented an informative program on cattle nutrition, including the importance of proper nutritional management and the benefits of Positive Feed Protein Tubs in supporting cattle health and performance.
Wess Anglin also presented a program addressing several important considerations for cattle producers. His presentation covered the advantages of crossbreeding, the benefits of Gelbvieh and Balancer calves, and important factors to consider when selecting bulls for a herd. The programs provided attendees with practical information to help them make informed decisions regarding nutrition, breeding and herd development.
The meeting also included door prizes and an opportunity for local cattle producers to visit and share information with fellow members of the agricultural community.
Membership in the Grenada Cattlemen’s Association is $10 for local membership. Producers may also join the Mississippi Cattlemen’s Association for $50.
