Greetings from the Office of Admission! We wanted to pass along some exciting information that may be of particular interest to prospective students with an interest in fiction or screenwriting. Dean Bakopoulos, assistant professor of English and writer in residence, has just released a movie based on his award-winning novel, Please Don't Come Back From the Moon.

The film adaptation, titled Don't Come Back From the Moon, has already snagged awards at the Sundance Film Festival as well as a 100% "Fresh" rating among critics on Rotten Tomatoes.

We're pretty proud of our phenomenal faculty, and we hope that you-- current and future Grinnellians-- are excited to dive into classes, workshops, and research with professors like Dean.
