Semper Fidelis: “Always Faithful”

Charlie Passaro ‘27 graduated from the US Marine Corps Officer Candidates School this summer and his mentor, Gareth Hughes ’04, drove 10 hours roundtrip from NC to Quantico, VA to attend his OCS graduation ceremony, and also gifted Charlie his USMC regulations book from his time at OCS exactly 23 years ago, plus his USMC rank pin.

Bonded not only by Grove City College, but also by the camaraderie of the Marines, Gareth and Charlie are an exemplar of meaningful alumni friendships. Their devotion to mentorship, encouragement, and service is truly moving. We are proud to call Gareth and Charlie Grovers. ❤️

From OB to O-Chem! 👩🏻‍🔬⚛️👨🏻‍🔬

Dr. Rachel (Gongaware ‘20) Clark and Dr. Jonathan Dabbs ‘18 served together on the Social committee of Orientation Board during their time on campus. Almost 10 years later, they are serving as professors in the Chemistry department with next door offices! 🏡🏡
