The fifth annual Baja Butler Bash was an amazing success! Huge thank you to every team, volunteer, and sponsor who helped make this event the best one yet.

We doubled our turnout this year — 12 teams and 31 cars tearing it up on the track! The Baja community keeps growing and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Get ready to LET THE DIRT FLY at the 5th Annual BUTLER BASH hosted by Grove City College!

📅 Date: October 18
📍 Location: Switchback MX, Butler, PA
💸 Cost: $450 per team (No extra charge per car!)
🔧 Hosted by GCC Baja—this one-day race is all about good times, tight racing, and Baja fun 🤘

Expect:
🔥 4 hour endurance race
🌪️ Acceleration and Barrel Racing
🏆 Trophies and ultimate bragging rights
🛠️ A chance to have fun with the car without the worry of breaking it

After a long 4 days of working on the car and tackling problem after problem, we wrapped up Sunday with a strong 3-hour run holding around 8th place in endurance—until a sheared key in our gearbox brought it to a halt. We ended up finishing 26th in endurance.

It wasn’t the result we hoped for, but the grit, teamwork, and perseverance shown this weekend speaks volumes. We’ll be back next year—stronger, smarter, and ready to fight

Ladies and Gents that’s a wrap! We placed 36th overall out of 106 teams from across the globe. We are left wondering “what if” due to cvt problems throughout the weekend but overall the team had a good time and can’t wait to be back next year! Thanks to that allows us to do this every year!
