Newman Club’s September photo dump!
September was a month filled with faith, prayer and fellowship; we’re off to a strong start! Our club officer presentations focused on living out and understanding the Catholic faith, beginning with a Catechism crash course, on to a Christian wellness talk, and ending with an introduction to Catholic Apologetics. Students spent time in prayer amidst Christ’s presence during 24-hour adoration, baking cookies (for further fellowship) afterward to celebrate! Throughout the month, members got the opportunity to take trips down to Pittsburgh to attend the Traditional Latin Mass, experiencing a beautiful, timeless liturgy. Overall, we are grateful for all that God has given us to help us continue to develop a strong, Catholic community on campus. “Get used to lifting your heart to God, in acts of thanksgiving, many times a day. Because he gives you this and that; because you have been despised; because you haven’t what you need or because you have. Thank him for everything, because everything is good.”
— St. Josemaria Escriva
