Nathan has completed this challenging journey in record time, with his final class ending on July 31st. He has worked incredibly hard to reach this milestone, and we couldn’t be more proud of his accomplishment!

Nathan is already taking the next step in his aviation career. He will be heading to Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he has accepted a position with West Star Aviation, LLC.

Great job, Nathan! We’re proud to have been part of your journey and look forward to seeing where your aviation career takes you!

Congrats to Josh Wakefield on passing his FAA Powerplant Oral & Practical exam!

Josh knocked out his Airframe earlier this year, so he's now officially an FAA Certified Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Technician.

Already a private pilot, Josh will definitely appreciate being able to save some money on inspections and maintenance for his own airplane.

Way to go, Josh! Congratulations on a job well done! 👏✈️

Dr. Greg Randall, Dean of Career Technical Education & Workforce Development at Snead State Community College recently spoke to Arab City Schools teachers during the 4th Annual Educators Explore Industry PD Day. Dr. Randall shared information on CTE programs at Snead State along with area industry trends.

Cherri Barnard and Teresa Walker have recently retired from Snead State Community College. Teresa has been the Director of Workforce Development for 17 years. Cherri has been Snead State’s Career Technical Specialist for 33 years. Fifty years of knowledge and experience will be hard to replace. Teresa and Cherri have done a magnificent job leading workforce development during their tenure. Both will be missed. Thank you, Teresa and Cherri, for your service to our community.
