Did you know that some of our TRiO Students were inducted into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society back in May?

Sophia Ray and Wilma Hunt-Blake were inducted.
Scott Petty became the Regional Officer
Amanda Snyder (Our Student Worker) was sworn in as Recording Secretary.

Way to go you all!!

To be invited to be part of PTK, Students must:
-Be enrolled in an institution that has a Phi Theta Kappa chapter.
-Have completed at least 12 hours of coursework toward an associate or bachelor's degree or at least 6 hours of coursework toward a certificate of 1 year.
-Generally, have a cumulative 3.5 grade point average.

The Spring 2024 Dean’s List has been published, and we are pleased to announce that many TRiO students have met all the criteria to qualify. The criteria for making the Dean’s List are as follows:
• Students must earn a minimum quality-point average of 3.50 for the most recent semester.
• Students must have accumulated at least 12 semester hours of college-level coursework at HCC.
• Students must have completed at least six hours of college-level coursework during the most recent semester.
Congratulations to all the students who made this list! Keep up the hard work!
