From community college to a dream career 🙌 meet Jordann!

After earning her associate’s degree from Frederick Community College, Jordann knew she wanted to take the next step toward her bachelor’s degree—without leaving home or stepping away from her full-time job.

Through University System of Maryland at Hagerstown and a program with Frostburg State University, she was able to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration locally—while continuing to work and grow professionally.

Jordann reflected on how smaller classes, supportive faculty, and flexible scheduling made it possible for her to balance work, life, and school—and succeed.

Today, she’s building her career with Frederick County Government in Human Resources—and credits USMH for helping make it all possible.

✨ Jordann said: “The program made higher education attainable for me at a time when relocating or taking on significant debt wasn’t realistic.”
