Quinnipiac University, Office of Residential Life The official page of the Offices of Housing and Residential Life at Quinnipiac University

At Quinnipiac, about 4,800 students live in University-owned housing in traditional residence halls, suites, houses and apartments. Our residential life program provides a safe, comfortable environment that allows every student to make the most of the college experience. From the moment you move in to your room, you are part of a community that cares for you as an individual — a community that will help you become a self-assured and aware adult, ready for an independent and full life.

All Residence Halls are closing Saturday, May 9,
at 10:00 am

Departure Dates:

💙Students with no scheduled final exams (not in summer housing) are expected to move out by Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 10 am.

💛Students with final exams (not graduating, not in summer housing) are expected to move out within 24 hours after their last exam, but no later than Saturday, May 9 at 10 am, whichever comes first.

💙Graduating students participating in Commencement are expected to move out by 12 pm (noon) the day after their ceremony. No late departure request is required.

💛Students assigned to summer housing may remain on campus and should be prepared to transition to their summer housing assignment on Sunday, May 17.

✔️Online Check-Out:

*All residents must complete the online check-out form in MyHousing immediately after fully vacating their room.*

Beginning May 1, a Check-Out button will appear below your current housing assignment in MyHousing. Once you have moved out, you must formally check out by submitting this form.

🚗Parking:

You may park near your residence hall while moving. A strict 20-minute time limit will be enforced for vehicles parked directly outside buildings to ensure an efficient move-out process for all students.

Room/Hall Damages:

- On-campus storage is not available. Any items left behind will be discarded and may result in a service fee.
- Damage or vandalism in common areas will be billed to all residents of that area if the individual responsible cannot be identified.
- We encourage each of you to have a discussion with your roommates about any possible damage(s) that may have occurred in your room throughout the semester.
- If one or several individuals are responsible for the damage(s), please use this as an opportunity to formally accept responsibility for these damages. Please email the RHD a statement with, Damage Responsibility, in the subject line.
