Dartmouth College Student Woodshop The woodworking shop offers instruction in all aspects of woodworking to Dartmouth students. No experience is necessary, beginners are welcome.

The woodworking shop offers a rare opportunity to learn woodworking from professional craftspeople. No prior experience is necessary, beginners are welcome. The shop offers instruction in all aspects of woodworking including furniture design, cabinetmaking, woodturning, and woodcarving. You will find extensive hand tools and machinery, a finishing room equipped with a spray booth and a studio for

matting and framing photos, prints, posters, paintings and drawings. There is an extensive library with texts and periodicals relating to furniture design and construction as well as general issues in the history of design. Woodshop instructors are always available to help you with your project from design to completion.
