Phoenix Sorority The Phoenix Sorority was established July 30, 1994 at New York City Mission Society's Minisink Townhouse.

This organization was founded to help develop positive, young women in the community through programs that build self-esteem and leadership skills.

Phoenix Sorority would to congratulate our Financial Advisor and Brooklyn Charter Line Soror as she receives her second Bachelors; BS and MS in Accounting from Saint Francis College. While both degrees were matriculated in 2020, Lynsday’s celebration was postponed due to Covid.

Lyndsay has gone on to accept a position with the federal government and is well on her to becoming a certified CPA....do we hear Dr. Lyndsay Caresse JF in our future?

We can’t wait to see it!

Join the Phoenix Sorority of Minisink as we host a 1 hour Virtual Tea in honor of Mothers Day this year. Saturday, May 8th. We will be honoring mothers/mother figures in our organization and in our communities.

If you would like to honor your mother/ mother figure or honor yourself here are the two ways to do so:

1. If you would like to honor your mother/ mother figure please submit a picture and a brief 50 word description of what your mother/mother figure means to you. Your submission will be featured on our social media on Sunday May 9, 2021.

2. If you are a mother and would like to acknowledge yourself as a parent please submit a photo of you and your child(ren) with a brief 50 word description of what being a mother means to you. Your submission will be featured on our social media on Sunday May 9, 2021.

All submissions will be a part of our Mothers Day Slide Show that will be played during the virtual tea. Submissions are due May 4, 2021 by 7pm and should be sent to [email protected] with the subject of Mothers Day 2021.

We look forward to celebrating this special day within you all. Have your Tea ready 💐
