A time was had at this year’s retreat as the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.®, Epsilon Sigma Omega Chapter are officially in the planning phases to launch the 2026–2030 International Program! We are actively strategizing to bring our new international theme, "Championing Service: Empowering Sisterhood, Transforming the World," to life right here in the Greater Harrisburg community. BACK TO SCHOOL!
Today, the Harrisburg School District officially welcomed our amazing students, families, and staff back for the first day of class! We were thrilled to join the morning excitement and greet our students with First Day Handshakes at: Camp Curtin Academy, Cougar Academy and Harrisburg High School SciTech Campus. A massive THANK YOU to Blessed 2 Give, Inc. for coordinating such a wonderful event and filling our hallways with positive energy! Together, we are setting our scholars up for an incredible year ahead. Let’s make it a great school year, Mighty Cougars!

Epsilon Sigma Omega Chapter Retreat was a wonderful and uplifting experience! As Champions for Service, we explored the heart of a champion, reviewed the playbook, and studied the film. We also enjoyed meaningful sisterly relations and engaging membership activities.

We left the retreat inspired, energized, and reminded of the champion that lies within each of us. Most importantly, we are ready to continue building on our legacy of service and making a meaningful difference in our Harrisburg, PA, community. 💗💚
