Purple & Gold Jubilee: 50 Years of Undergraduate Research

Join JMU Chemistry as it celebrates the beginning of an incredible Jubilee year.
For 50 years, we have engaged students in faculty-mentored research. JMU faculty saw the value of undergraduate research decades before other institutions. We set the standard for preparing students for careers in industry, medicine and teaching.

From now until April 2027, we will celebrate our departmental Jubilee. We will remember the faculty, staff, and students who were instrumental in shaping JMU Chemistry into the premiere undergraduate research program that it is today.
