Howdy there Physics Folks, dropping in here to post some much awaited alerts!

In addition, we're seeking department feedback to help plan our Bi-Annual camping trip! More news on this will be posted once we decide on a date/details, but if you'd like to contribute, fill out the survey below:

And finally, to round us out, we're accepting T-Shirt/Sweatshirt designs for our department gear. We'd like you to submit your (non-trademark-infringing) designs to [email protected] in order to put them in the running to become this year's departmental designs.

That's all for now, but stay tuned for future propaganda!

Apprentice, padawan, grasshopper. Such are the titles that shall be bestowed upon you should you wish to fill out this form. Whomst shall be thine master? Only the wonderful matchmaking gods and algorithms of ChristianMingle, Tumblr, and Bumble could know!

Hello everyone! This is just a friendly reminder about the annual JMU Physics Department Picnic that will be going on tomorrow (4/13) from 5:00-9:00 pm! It will be held at JMU’s University Park right off of Port Republic rd. Rides will be provided to the park from Phys/Chem. There will be free food, volleyball, and even mega jenga!!!

Also, if you plan on going camping, you may leave straight from the picnic and there will be rides provided from the park to the campsite!

Howdy physics folks! The physics department is coordinating our annual March Madness tournament challenge, and don't be discouraged by your complete apathy for sports - it's the physics department, you're in good company.

As some of you may know SPS hosts a number if events each semester for the physics majors to hangout and cheel and stuff like movie night game night etc - this is made possible by our fundraising. If you would like to help raise money for SPS, you can participate in a friendly competition, and maybe win some money yourself. Message Adam Golfman and you can buy March Madness bracket(s) and the winner will get half the money raised overall!
