We want to help you learn tips to provide your Dukes as they approach enrollment. Anything to make enrollment less stressful, we're here to help!

- Log into MyMadison before enrollment begins to ensure that their MyMadison password is up to date. If they haven't already, check for holds that prevent enrollment.

- Identify the classes needed to make progress toward their degree and meet or make contact with their advisor(s) with questions.

- Verify that they meet all the requisites for the classes so they will not have trouble enrolling. This can be done by looking at the class information in the class search.

- Anticipate a certain amount of flexibility with their schedules. Encourage your Dukes to prepare several options for their schedule so they can easily pivot if their previous choice is now full.

Spring registration is upon us and we know how overwhelming and stressful it can be.

Come de-stress, get your questions answered, and leave feeling a little more ready to take on registration. Because even Dukes need a breather!

Madison Advising Peers (MAPs) can take away your Duke's stress when it comes to class enrollment. Does you Duke need help building their schedule for next semester, or advice to make sure their enrollment process goes smoothly? Who is better to ask than someone who has been through it before?!

Dukes! The last day to Withdraw from a regular semester long course is Tuesday, Oct. 27th!

Make sure you reach out to your advisor with any questions.

Enrollment is coming up for your students. Please remind them to go ahead and schedule an appointment with their advisor to discuss options and go over details for enrollment. Getting this checked off of your Duke's list soon will help prepare them for enrollment, the sooner the better!

Your Duke can schedule an appointment with their advisor or a Madison Advising Peer (MAP) through MyMadison.

Tell them to visit the JMU Learning Centers for free tutoring, study sessions, writing consultations, peer academic coaching, speech/presentation prep, English language consultations and more!
