Enthusiastic and lively students working with hot steel samples at 955 degrees Celsius!

JMU juniors ENGR 314 Engineering Materials Lab are learning about heat treatment processing of steel and the effect on structure and thus properties.

We take safety very seriously and therefore this is hands-off learning (literally!) and not hands-on learning.
