Muslim Students Association at James Madison University Open to both Muslim and non-Muslims alike, the JMU Muslim Students' Association strives to develop a dynamic, united and welcome community on campus

The Muslim Student Association at James Madison University is a student-run organization that strives primarily to help accommodate the JMU Muslim students to college life on campus by establishing a close bond with each other and the JMU/Harrisonburg community at large. The organization seeks to branch out to other cultural and religious organizations on campus in order to educate the JMU/Harrisonburg community about cultural and religious diversity.

Last week MSA hosted a Grand Iftar in honor of the holy month of Ramadan.

We started off the night with a speech from Ustadh Hanif J. Williams, followed by prayer, and some great food for iftar.

Thank you all to everyone that came out to the Grand Iftar last week!! MSA is grateful for the lovely community we have built.

Make sure to bring your friends and something comfortable to sit on! It will be potluck style, so feel free to bring what you’re able and write it in the shared spreadsheet located in the MSA Active Groupme!
