JMU SMACC - Society of Musicians/Artists for Collaborative Creating A James Madison University club devoted to networking to create new songs through collaboration with other JMU students Are you a vocalist? Lyricist? Poet?

The purpose of SMACC is to bring together musicians and artists here at JMU, both music majors and non-music majors. Instrumentalist? Well SMACC wants you! The idea here is to create a network of JMU's musicians for the purpose collaborating with people you might not otherwise meet. If you already have a band or have no desire to play with any SMACC members, this club could still be for you. Being

a member of SMACC will be a good way to promote yourself by creating valuable relationships with fellow musicians. Some activities that SMACC members will have the privilege to be a part of:

-Organized Jam Sessions

-Song Workshops

-SMACC Concerts
