🚨 Good news and even greater opportunities for fire technology & administration, EMS, and paramedic students at CT State Capital 🚨
🎉 Kicking off the fall 2026 semester with exciting news 🎉
🚒 On Tuesday, September 29th, Connecticut State Community College leadership, President Sharale Mathis (Capital and Tunxis), Dean Nancy Prather-Johnson, Dr. William Perez, and Program Director, Trish Wain, were invited to the Connecticut Fire Academy to attend the Commission on Fire Prevention and Control’s monthly meeting. During the event, CT State Capital, Gateway, and Naugatuck, were recognized for achieving FESHE accreditation through the National Fire Academy as an official Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education institution. Dr. Perez’s ongoing efforts to support fire science education throughout Connecticut has restored fire technology education across the CT State Community College system, reinforcing our commitment to offer standardized, affordable, and accessible training to our local emergency medical services workforce.
