Article II of the Delta Gamma Constitution: The objects of this Fraternity shall be to foster high ideals of friendship among college women, to promote their educational and cultural interests, to create in them a true sense of social responsibility and to develop in them the best qualities of character. Delta Gamma’s primary purpose is to create an environment for its members in which lasting friendships are established and in which members find the processes, the experiences and the disciplines that will stimulate clear thought. Its aim is to foster an atmosphere in which women will develop a deeper love and consideration for mankind, a more profound understanding of the purpose of life and a basic wisdom upon which to build their lives. Delta Gamma’s purpose is accomplished through planned collegiate and alumnae programs that provide intellectual motivation, the opportunity for graciousness in daily living, and community awareness which will enrich the lives of members and instill in them a respect for the enduring values to be gained from the Fraternity.

September is National Guide Dog Month! 🦮🐾
Delta Gamma supports our national philanthropy, Service for Sight, as well as our local philanthropy, Gallant Hearts Guide Dog Center.

This month allows us to spread awareness, respect working guide dogs teams and celebrate all of the outstanding work guide dogs do to provide assistance and freedom to those with visual impairments.

We would also like to recognize our alumna, Gloria, and her guide dog in training, George. Gloria is a part of the Gallant Hearts organization and helps raise and train dogs like George that will eventually go on to become guide dogs for individuals who are blind or visually impaired.

DO GOOD WEEK 2026🦋🩷🦮💐✨💜
We had an amazing time last week being able to do good! From making dog toys, volunteering around the community, passing out flowers honoring our late sister and even assisting in guide dog training, we loved every minute of it. Thank you to everyone who supported and participated to make this week a success and a big thanks to our Do Good Week sponsor, Live Oak Engineering!
Also huge shoutout to Kinsey Brewer and alden!! 🤸‍♀️🦋 for all of their hard work this week and putting together such an incredible week for our chapter!⚓️

Hear from our Director of Do Good Week, Alden Morris MC ‘25, and why she chose Delta Gamma!

“This week I’m especially grateful to be a DG and to have the opportunity to serve as Director of Do Good Week! Planning this week has made me realize how much of an impact even the smallest acts of kindness can have.

I’m so thankful for a chapter that shows me every day what it really means to “Do Good.” Whether it’s giving someone a compliment, lending a helping hand, or simply making someone feel loved, the little things really do matter. Delta Gamma has shown me how to be a light in the darkness because you truly never know what someone is going through.

I am so incredibly grateful for this sisterhood and for the trust they have given me by allowing me to organize do good week! 🦋💝🐶
