Article II of the Delta Gamma Constitution: The objects of this Fraternity shall be to foster high ideals of friendship among college women, to promote their educational and cultural interests, to create in them a true sense of social responsibility and to develop in them the best qualities of character. Delta Gamma’s primary purpose is to create an environment for its members in which lasting fri

endships are established and in which members find the processes, the experiences and the disciplines that will stimulate clear thought. Its aim is to foster an atmosphere in which women will develop a deeper love and consideration for mankind, a more profound understanding of the purpose of life and a basic wisdom upon which to build their lives. Delta Gamma’s purpose is accomplished through planned collegiate and alumnae programs that provide intellectual motivation, the opportunity for graciousness in daily living, and community awareness which will enrich the lives of members and instill in them a respect for the enduring values to be gained from the Fraternity.

“My favorite thing about me and Ann Brilye is I really don’t remember how we met, we just decided to be best friends and the rest was history! One spontaneous trip to the beach and now we’re inseparable. I can’t believe I ever lived life before knowing her. Being friends with Ann Brilye is easily one of my favorite things. I love the way I can tell her everything and I don’t have to hide anything. She is my go-to person for everything and the first one I call when I have news to share. I’m so thankful to have a friend who keeps me accountable and makes every DG event 10x more fun. Meet our Vice President of Social Standards, Meredith Hamrick!💐⚓️

“Hi! My name is Meredith Hamrick! I am currently majoring in Legal Studies with a minor in Political Science and I am from Mobile, Alabama. I am so unbelievably honored to be serving DG as VP: Social Standards! I feel like I have learned so much already in just a few short months. Being in this role has taught me better advocacy skills, communication, and confidence! Supporting and guiding members is my highest priority and I truly feel like I have found the perfect role in DG that is best suited to my strengths. I can’t wait to see what the rest of my term has in store!”

Meet our Vice President of Panhellenic, Anna Grace Nobles!💐⚓️

“Hey y’all! I’m Anna Grace Nobles, a sophomore nursing major from D’Iberville, Mississippi! I am serving as Delta Pi’s Vice President Panhellenic! As a new member last year, I fell in love with Delta Gamma and the friendships it has given me. I have also fallen in love with the Panhellenic community and the many friendships it has given me. I am so thankful to be a part of a unique, close knit Panhellenic community that Southern Miss provides! Last semester it became clear to me that this was the position I feel most passionately about as it helps foster that community that I am so thankful for. I have loved serving and representing Delta Pi through this role and continue to support and foster community among all the amazing chapters at Southern Miss! 💕⚓️🩵”

“I could not ask for a better friend than Hannah Ard! She is the kindest, most genuine, and hardest-working person I have ever met. She balances being a dance education major, a member of Delta Gamma, and being such a good friend so gracefully. I know that anytime I need a shoulder to cry on or someone to laugh with, I can call Hannah. Thanks to her, I now know what having a true best friend feels like, someone who pushes me to be better while also having so much fun along the way. Our friendship has helped me grow closer to God and the chapter all at the same time. I am so lucky that God has blessed me with a friendship like the one I have with Hannah, and I am so thankful that Delta Gamma has introduced me to my best friend.”
