Kappa Sigma Epsilon-Nu chapter is a decade old fraternity dedicated to the betterment of our members, our university, and our fraternity through the principals of The Star & Crescent. "The Star and Crescent Shall not be worn by every man, but only by him who is worthy to wear it. He must be a gentleman... a man of honor and courage... a man of zeal, yet humble... an intelli

gent man... a man of truth... one who tempers action with wisdom... and, above all else, one who walks in the light of God."

Last weekend, the Epsilon-Nu Chapter of Kappa Sigma hosted its 75th Anniversary Reunion. We were able to host more than 60 brothers from the inception of Epsilon-Nu and welcome them back to the House of Champions.

During the reunion, we also announced an endowed scholarship to honor Major General Buford C. Blount III, an esteemed Epsilon-Nu Alumnus. Blount is a 1967 initiate of Epsilon-Nu and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1971. Blount went on to have a distinguished career in the U.S. military, which included leading the U.S. 3rd Infantry Division into Baghdad in 2003, among many other things.

If you are able and would like to donate to this scholarship to honor a man who has been a constant in the success of our chapter, please follow this link: http://usmfoundation.com/kappasigma75 (https://nam12.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fusmfoundation.com%2Fkappasigma75&data=05%7C02%7CWilliam.A.Mitchell%40usm.edu%7Cedf13d71a7224b3ad89d08dcd7231fd2%7C7f3da4be2722432ebfa764080d1eb1dc%7C0%7C0%7C638621793078814444%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=sUr2vWMJYg7D6tP%2FT54YVHnseALxM%2BKpojRRUE5rKN4%3D&reserved=0)
